Pooja Hegde’s Tollywood Comeback Still A Mystery

Pooja Hegde has been away from Telugu films for quite some time. Her last release was Acharya in 2022. She was initially part of Guntur Kaaram but left the project midway.

While promoting Retro, Pooja revealed that she will soon return to Tollywood with a love story which will mark her comeback.

Recently, Dulquer Salmaan launched a new film, and many believed it was Pooja’s comeback project. Several reports also suggested the same.

But in a recent interview Shruti Haasan confirmed that she is acting in the film. This led to confusion among fans about whether Pooja is also in it or if Shruti has replaced her.

For now there’s no clarity and fans are waiting for an official announcement from Pooja or the team. The untitled film is directed by debutant Ravi Nelakuditi and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of Dasara fame.
