Politics: Will Nithiin Join the Campaign Trail?

Recent media reports have hinted at actor Nithiin potentially joining political campaigning soon. It appears that Nithiin’s uncle, Nagesh Reddy, is in line to receive a Congress ticket for the upcoming Telangana elections. Nagesh Reddy has been actively involved in politics and served as the Chairman of the Nizamabad Market Committee for over a decade.

He is now gearing up to contest as a Congress candidate in the Telangana assembly elections, specifically in the Nizamabad Rural Constituency. Recent reports suggest that he met with Revanth Reddy to discuss his candidacy and expressed interest in campaigning alongside his nephew, Nithiin, if he secures the Congress ticket.

This development has sparked discussions and speculation about the Congress party’s plans. In the previous election, the Congress candidate Bhupathi Reddy was defeated by Bajireddy Govardhan Reddy of the BRS party in the same constituency. Now, the Congress is reevaluating its strategy and sees Nagesh Reddy as a potential candidate who could help unite the party and improve its prospects.

There are also reports that the Congress is considering involving Nithiin in the election campaign, which could further bolster the party’s position in the constituency. As of now, Nithiin remains unaffiliated with any political party and is focused on his acting career, including promoting his upcoming movies, such as “Extra-Ordinary Man” with director Vakkantham Vamsi.
