Vijay’s Policeodu is Now Police

The Telugu version of actor Vijay’s Theri was titled Policeodu in Telugu as decided by Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu. But now, after a couple of police organisations met Dil Raju, who is distributing the film in Telugu, and explained to him why they had reservations about the use of the title. And so, he obliged and has decided to change the title to Police. While the release date is same, the film’s title in now Police.

Rated U by the censor board, Theri has opened to mixed reviews at the Chennai box-office. Sri Venkateswara Creations and Kalaipuli S Thanu will be releasing the Telugu version of the film. Atlee, who shot to fame with ‘Raja Rani’, made this film with a big budget and high technical values.
