Pokiri Final Collections After 20 Years
Pokiri is the film that made Mahesh Babu rise from “Prince” to “Super Star”. Released on April 28, 2006, the movie is now completing 20 years. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film became a huge blockbuster and created a sensation at the box office.
At that time, Puri was facing continuous failures, but Mahesh trusted him and accepted the project. That trust turned into a massive success. From the very first show, Pokiri received super hit talk and went on to become one of the biggest hits in Mahesh’s career, setting new records in Telugu cinema.

The film also ran for 100 days in 200 centers and 175 days in 63 centers, becoming the only Telugu film at that time to achieve this rare record.
