People have proved us wrong Says Nani

Nani, produced the movie Awe for the first time and it released on 16th February. The movie got some rave reviews and also, collected more than 350K USD in the three day weekend in USA. Even in two Telugu states, the movie is being accepted by urban audiences mostly. Producer Nani and director, Prashanth Verma, thanked audience in a joint video statement.

Nani said, “I thought only 20% people will get the movie but more than 80% of the people who saw are appreciating us, sending him blog links and also, sharing their happiness in lengthy messages. I and my team, are happy to be wrong and I thank each and every Telugu audience member, for giving us such a huge success. We will try to entertain you further with good films.”

Prashanth Verma said, “This is a huge surprise for me. Many told me that I should make this movie in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam or English. They said it is too intelligent for Telugu people. But Telugu people proved that they have much better taste than we all assume and thank you for making me feel, more responsible. I am really happy when people say that they are giving standing ovation in non-Telugu areas like Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore and other areas. I will take this success as a responsibility and will come up with better films.” Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi, Avasarala Srinivas, Ravi Teja and Eesha Rebba acted in this psychological multi-genre thriller film.
