Prepare For The Season’s Festive Song, “Gamey Gamey,” by Chatrapathi composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Armaan Malik on vocals
The official Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Telugu film “Chatrapathi” has just released the song “Gamey Gamey,” in which Sreenivas Bellamkonda and Nushrratt Bharuccha portray Dashing Chokra and Sundar Chokri!
The song, written by Tanishk Bagchi and featuring vocals by Armaan Malik and Zahrah Khan, is a lively and joyous dance number that’s suitable for any occasion and serves as the perfect prelude to the premiere of the much awaited action-entertainer.
Given Gamey Gamey’s youthful exuberance, the music was introduced with tremendous hoopla at a well-known institution in Ahmedabad.
Armaan Malik claims that “Gamey Gamey is the perfect big, Indian festive song- It’s easy listening with peppy beats and young, fun energy.”
Adds Zahrah Khan, “It was a lot of fun recording this track with Armaan as we both brought our individual sounds. There is a balance and contrast in our vocals which makes Gamey Gamey interesting to listen to.”
Says Sreenivas Bellamkonda, “I thoroughly enjoyed myself filming this track. The moves are unlike anything I’ve attempted in the past and it was exciting to try choreography that was new and different.”
Says Nushrratt Bharuccha, “Gamey Gamey is something I believe will be a big hit at festivities and celebrations in the country. It is colourful, vibrant, energetic yet keeps intact the cultural flavour – overall a really fun dance track.”
“Chatrapathi,” which is directed by V.V. Vinayak and written by Vijayendra Prasad, is presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios). The movie is a legally recognised remake of S.S. Rajamouli’s Prabhas-starring original of the same name. Sreenivas Bellamkonda makes his significant Bollywood debut with this film, which hits theatres on May 12 across the country.
