Pawan Kalyan never reached out to Anisha

Anisha Ambrose must have been one hell of a happy person when despite being just two-film old, she was offered the lead role opposite Pawan Kalyan in Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t last long as she was soon dropped and replaced by Kajal Aggarwal as the fans of Power Star vehemently raged against the idea!

In a conversation with an English daily, she said, “I was zeroed in after the audition and eight months later it didn’t work out. I’m sure if I had done the film, I would have faced a lot of challenges but I’m glad with the choice they’ve made finally. There was a lot of pressure on me in terms of my looks, acting skills and how I would handle the media and I’ve tried my best to handle everything but they’ve made a decision.”

It was Sharrath Marar who informed me that it wasn’t working out. I was politely told, ‘I don’t think we can go ahead with you.” The actress confesses, PK did not reach out to her when she lost out on the film. With a sigh she concluded, “Nobody gets to talk to him; he is a man of a few words.”
