Pawan Kalyan Begins An 11-Day Fast

This month actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan began his role as Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister with great energy to fulfill his duties.

Recently he started an 11 days long fast for the well being and prosperity of the people in his state.

According to reports Pawan Kalyan is observing the fast known as Varahi Deeksha which began on June 26th. During these 11 days he will abstain from regular food and follow a strict diet.

This fast is a form of worship dedicated to Goddess Varahi Ammavari. It’s believed that during this time, he will sleep on the ground and remain barefoot.

Last year in June 2023, he had also observed worship for Goddess Varahi. The Varahi Ammavari Deeksha typically lasts for nine or eleven days, usually observed at the end of the Jyestha month or in Ashadha month.
