Pavani Gangireddy in Nag’s next
Pavani Gangireddy, who was seen as Mahesh Babu’s sister in Brahmotsavam and also gave a commendable act in Right Right, has signed another biggie now. The 28-year-old Hyderabad will soon play a key role in Nagarjuna’s Om Namo Venkatesa, the biopic of Baba Hathiram, an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara, reports a leading English daily.
While Vimala Raman already plays Sreedevi, one of the wives of the lord of the seven hills, Pavani will be seen as Bhoodevi, his other wife. Hindi television actor Saurabh Raaj Jain has been roped in to play Lord Venkateswara in the film. The film, directed by K Raghavendra Rao also stars Anushka Shetty in a key role and will go on floors in July.
