Pathaan Status at Telugu Box Office

Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan’s dark action thriller, Pathaan under the direction of Siddharth Anand had a theatrical release on January 25th. Along with Hindi, the film had a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil versions as well.

Opened to largely positive reports, the film witnessed massive reception across the globe. Reportedly, the Telugu version of Pathaan theatrical rights are sold for Rs 3.96 crore and the film should collect Rs 4.25 crore share to be a safe bet for the buyers here. Meanwhile, the trade reports say that the film has collected Rs 2.67 crore share from twin Telugu states. Below is the area-wise break-up.

As more than half of the invested amount on Pathaan is recovered on the first day itself, the film will enter by the end of its second-day run. At the worldwide box office, Pathaan has minted more than Rs 200 crore gross. The current trade indicates that Pathaan will breach the Rs 500 crore mark by this weekend itself and set a new opening weekend record by a huge margin.
