Only Rs 35 lakh remuneration for Shriya

How interesting! In a film where Rs 8 crore has been spent on a single war sequence, actress Shriya Saran, who has been roped in to play the female lead in Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni will get only a meagre amount of Rs 35 lakh!

Helmed by Kanche director Krish, the film sees Balakrishna play the role of the erstwhile Telugu ruler, Gauthamiputra Satakarni. Shriya has been roped in to play Vasishta Devi, his wife.

The remuneration is surprising considering Shriya has acted alongside several of the present day matinee idols in south India including Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi and even Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. We know her market has gone down and all, but still, not fair!
