Nushrratt reveals about getting replaced in Dream Girl 2

Nushrratt Bharuccha has at last spoken out about Ananya Panday’s replacement in Dream Girl 2.

When Nushrratt Bharuccha co-starred with Ayushmann Khurrana in the film Dream Girl, she received praise for her acting prowess. In Part 2, however, Ananya Panday took her position. The movie’s official trailer debuted online, and the major actors have been actively promoting it by talking extensively about it. Now that Nushrratt has responded to the same, he claims there is no logic and no solution.

For the uninitiated, the Nushratt-led “Akeli” will compete with the August 25 release of the Ayushmann and Ananya blockbuster. She had the following to say regarding the conflict and being replaced.

Nushrratt Bharuccha stated in an interview that she loved the entire Dream Girl 1 cast despite being replaced by Ananya Panday in Dream Girl 2. I miss working with them immensely. But I don’t think anyone can tell me why they didn’t cast me in Dream Girl 2. There is no logic, and there is no solution, so I’m not sure. Why, then, did they not cast me? It hurts because I am a human, therefore of course it does. Naturally, it feels unfair. But I understand that it is their call. Cool, no issue.

She also discussed the competition between her movie “Akeli” and Dream Girl 2 in the same interview. She admitted, “I had no idea that ‘Dream Girl 2’ would be released on the same day as my movie. Technically, my movie was supposed to be out on August 18th, but we had to postpone it since we lacked certain types of clearances due to censorship concerns. We had to even if we didn’t want to. After hearing my experience, Raj sir replied, “All the best.” And I replied, “Sir, something is connected in our universe,” as my reply to him. Although I wasn’t in your movie, my second movie is coming out on the same day. We are now in a position where we can laugh about it.

Nushrratt Bharuccha has talked about being replaced in the movie Ananya Panday before, so this isn’t the first time. She previously claimed that she lacked the courage to contact the directors and inquire about the modification.
