Indira Gandhi, when she was Prime Minister of India, decided to visit Andhra Pradesh state and then leader of AP Congress, P.V. Narasimha Rao received her and as they started travelling. Indira Gandhi saw posters of Lord Rama and Krishna and decided to offer her prayers. Looking at her, Narasimha Rao clarified to her that they were the posters of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, a legendary actor and popular actor from Telugu and she stated learning more about him.
This is the first scene of NTR biopic, to be directed by Teja. News reports revealed that the script starts with the 1977-79 situations that led NTR to look at politics as a serious option to give back to society and then explores his early life to the time becomes the chief of National Front. The makers have decided to omit Lakshmi Parvathi episode and end it on a high to let his fans remember him as the great leader and man he is.
Nandamuri Balakrishna will star as NTR and produce the movie too. The script work of the movie has come to final stages and Balakrishna is happy to start the film whenever Teja is ready. Teja wants to finish Venkatesh movie first, so the movie will start production from April or May. In the meantime, Balakrishna could complete another film after Jai Simha.
