Nora Fatehi Clarifies Her Role In Sarke Chunar Issue

Nora Fatehi is again in controversy over the song “Sarke Chunar” from KD – The Devil.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has summoned her and asked her to appear on May 7th that is today at 11:30 am. She had earlier missed the hearing as she was out of the country.

The issue began when the Hindi version of the song was released online in March. Many criticized it saying the lyrics were inappropriate and showed women in a negative way.

Nora clarified that she only worked on the Kannada version and did not approve the Hindi version.

The controversy has grown further with Sanjay Dutt also being questioned and later apologizing. This situation has raised fresh concerns about how women are portrayed in films and songs.
