No second lead in Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake?

Power Star Pawan Kalyan came onboard in the Malayalam blockbuster remake Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The original has two lead actors sharing the screen space and the movie is mainly based on the egos of them. However, with Pawan Kalyan on board, the production house has struggled to find a suitable actor who can match Pawan’s image.

Sithara Entertainments is the production house behind the project and Sagar K Chandra is the director. With the second lead actor not confirming, Pawan Kalyan has given a key suggestion.

He asked to twist the script a bit and turn the second lead actor role into antagonist which means there will be no second lead in Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Two heroes clashing with each other is the X factor of Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Will that be missed in the remake? How will this change work in the favor of Pawan Kalyan?
