No Remuneration for Guru!

Venkatesh has been one star hero who never took a step back in accepting a remake. Even if the film needed to play a thief, an old man, a young man with less mental maturity and a father of 2 kids. He always innovated where it is necessary. At times he might have failed in his attempt to bring a successful story to Telugu audience, but he never shied away from trying interesting things on screen.

Venkatesh made Victory his surname with this carefully planned aggression and roles that suited him. He might have gone out of comfort zone for his films like Nagavalli, but pulled it off nicely with his experience and skills. Now he is busy making an appearance as a boxing coach in the critically acclaimed film, Saala Khadoos remake Guru.

The movie is directed by Sudha Kongara, the original movie director. Venky prepared for 9 months to beef up for the role. He is looking as dynamic as he can in the first look poster released by the team. From the believable we gained the information that Venky did not take any remuneration to be part of the film, but he was offered the satellite rights of the film as compensation. Ritika Singh of the original is playing the lead lady in the telugu version too. The film is slated for a December release.
