White beauty Nikita who debuted with Hai on Telugu Screen in the direction of EVV Satyanarayana back in 2002. Even though the movie did not become a hit, Nikita was accepted as a heroine in South India. She acted as a leading lady in several Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada Films. She also got a chance to act in few Hindi films too.
She found most success in Kannada Film Industry and interestingly, she was also maligned with controversy by the same industry. She was dragged into news by famous Kannada actor Darshan’s wife alleging that because of her husband’s affair with Nikita. Nikita was even banned because of the allegations from Kannada movies for four years.
She protested against the ban asking for proofs and many of the industry people came in support for her. With increasing support and lack of solid proofs Nikita’s ban was lifted after 6 days. She is currently working in Mukunda Murari, the remake of Oh My God, starring Upendra and Sudeepa.
Now she decided to tie the nuptials with a Businessman hailing from Mumbai, Gagandeep. It is yet to be known whether she will continue acting further. The ceremony was very silent and not many actors or actresses are invited for the ceremony. Well, we wish all the best for her happy future.
