Imanvi Esmail is stepping into the spotlight as the lead actress in Prabhas upcoming film, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film is currently being shot and buzz suggests Imanvi might land another big project soon.
According to sources, Imanvi is in talks to replace Tripti Dimri as the lead actress in Kartik Aaryan’s Aashiqui 3 directed by Anurag Basu. Tripti was originally cast for the film but had to back out due to scheduling conflicts.
If finalized this would be a major opportunity for Imanvi as her debut film with Prabhas hasn’t even been released yet and she’s already being considered for a Bollywood project with a popular star like Kartik Aaryan.
On the other hand while the official reason for Tripti’s exit is scheduling issues, insiders speculate that her recent career performance might be a factor. After earning recognition with Animal, many expected her to rise as a major star.
However, her subsequent films, Bad Newz and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, didn’t do well. Even though Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was a hit, the credit mainly went to Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Vidya Balan, as Tripti had a smaller, glamorous role. With her exit from Aashiqui 3, it remains to be seen how her career will shape up going forward.
