SS Rajamouli’s fictional periodic drama RRR is one of the most anticipated projects. The film stars Ram Charan and NTR in the roles of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju and Komaram Bheem respectively. RRR has completed almost 70 percent of the shoot before lockdown. DVV Danayya is the producer of the movie and the makers have considered releasing the movie during Sankranthi 2021 season.
However, the plans were spoiled by the pandemic situation. SS Rajamouli dared to resume the shoot in July after the Government has given permission for the shoot. However, when the situation worsened, he has taken a back step. After that SS Rajamouli and his family got tested COVID positive and after a few weeks of strict quarantine, they were tested negative.
Now, with all of them recovering from the virus, SS Rajamouli is again chalking out plans for a fresh schedule. Reports are that the latest schedule will resume from Dussehra. Set re-construction work will start soon as the set was damaged partially with no shoots happening from the last six months.
