New Date Confirmed: Mowgli Arrives On….

Yesterday turned into a very tense day for Telugu cinema as everyone waited for the new release date of Akhanda 2. Rumors spread throughout the day, and movies already planned for the same weekend even paused their promotions thinking Akhanda 2 might take over their release date.

By the time the makers confirmed the date as December 12th the industry had already gone through a full day of confusion. One film affected by this chaos was Mowgli 2025 from People Media Factory.

It was planned for December 12th, and after the announcement, director Sandeep Raj posted an emotional message on X, saying he felt unlucky because it seemed his film might be postponed again.

His post received both support and criticism. Later, Sandeep explained that he reacted because he was told the film might shift to February or April 2026.

Soon after he was informed that the new release date would be December 13th. The US premieres remain unchanged on December 11th.
