What are you? Where do you see yourself? How much do you rate yourself? Well, right from a person who believes only in material things to a person who believes in more serious issues in life, the major search of a human life is to find one’s self and corect the bad traits for existence of good. Otherwise, what is the purpose of it all?
Plot : Jogendra (Rana Daggubati) loves Radha (Kajal Aggarwal) more than his life. He needs her to be happy and anything that hurts her will meet his wrath without any second thought. One unfortunate incident pushes him into a mud puddle of politics and he tries to find his way back from the depths of it but he doesn’t find Radha beside him. What did he do then? Why did he loose Radha? Watch it on screen to know more …
Performances : Rana Daggubati manages to show drastic improvement from his previous outings and he seems to be growing in confidence of his abilities. The actor managed to perform the emotional scenes pretty well and he even managed to show variation in his body language. He needs to improve on his diction and dialogue delivery even more.
Kajal Aggarwal looks her best after years and she even sunk her teeth in the character. Alas, that isn’t enough to make the proceedings interesting after a point. Catherine Teresa doesn’t make a great impression along with Navdeep, Posani Krishna Murali being regular on screen. Sivaji Raja impresses in the lot and turns a new leaf in his acting career.
Technicalities : Venkat C Dileep and his men needed to give more time to this movie in setting the tine right as per the lighting scemhemes they tried on screen. They managed to excel in few scenes but failed to set the perfect pitch in many sequences. Music by Anoop Rubens is completely underwhelming and his BGM works in parts. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao doesn’t make great impression has his work is more clumsy than ever. He doesn’t help the director a decent pace for the movie.
Teja returns back after a long time with something worthy of his talents but he seems to be still rusty in handling the emotional scenes. He needed to spend more time in the opening minutes of the film for us to get a chance to ve entertained by the main protagonist and his character that has obsession about possession and position. He fails to leave an impression even though he had a great opportunity. He does try hard to drive home the point but it is overlong and lacks conviction in transformation of the lead in his bad and good phases.
Analysis : In a film that is more off a character study, you need actors and director to be on their toes at every moment. While actors have been kept on their toes, director seems to have lost his way after a good start. Well, a good attempt by Teja after many years but that doesn’t say much about the movie.
Rating : 2.5/5
