Nagarjuna Predicts Another Slump For TFI

Kubera and Coolie starring Dhanush and Rajinikanth, are generating strong buzz in the Telugu states, and one major reason is the presence of Nagarjuna in both films.

While promoting Kubera, Nagarjuna shared his thoughts on the state of the film industry. When asked about the view that Bollywood is struggling while South Indian cinema is doing well, Nagarjuna said these opinions keep changing.

He compared it to actors or directors going through rough patches, adding that several Bollywood films failing at once led to this narrative.

Talking about Tollywood, Nagarjuna said, “In my experience, the Telugu film industry has already faced three slumps, and I believe a fourth one is coming soon”.

He explained that such phases happen when there are no major releases and the films that do come out don’t perform well. Nagarjuna said he strongly feels another such challenging time is around the corner.
