Nagarjuna Calls For Better Planning In Telugu Cinema
Nagarjuna’s speech at the Lenin success meet has become a major talking point in Tollywood.
Instead of only celebrating the film’s success, he highlighted the growing problem of announcing release dates and later postponing films.
He admitted that Lenin also faced a delay because post-production was not completed on time and called it a planning mistake.
Nagarjuna said every film should be ready at least two weeks before release to avoid last-minute issues. He praised Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey for sticking to its announced release date and questioned why Telugu films struggle to do the same.
He also recalled how older films like Ninne Pelladata and Annamayya were completed early. His message was simple better planning and discipline will help improve Telugu cinema.
