Naga Vamsi’s Bold Move: Telugu Rights Of War 2 Locked

Naga Vamsi, apart from producing films, is also picking select movies to distribute in Telugu states. Though busy with his own projects, he showed his admiration for NTR by acquiring the Telugu theatrical rights of Devara last year. The film brought decent profits to all the distributors who partnered with him.

Now, Naga Vamsi has secured the Telugu theatrical rights of War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR. Despite YRF initially planning to release the film directly, Vamsi offered a high price and successfully bagged the rights.

War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is one of the most awaited films and is set to release on August 14th. The final song shoot started today in Mumbai.

Interestingly, it will clash with Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, which also releases the same day.

The Telugu rights of Coolie were acquired by Asian Suniel, Bunny Vas, and Dil Raju. A massive box-office battle awaits!
