Nag Ashwin, who scored big with Kalki 2898 AD last year, has already wrapped up the sequel’s work, but its progress is on hold as Prabhas is occupied with multiple projects.
In the meantime, Nag Ashwin also planned a women-centric film with Alia Bhatt, though that too is waiting as she has several commitments.
Recently, producer Ashwini Dutt arranged a special meeting between Nag Ashwin and Superstar Rajinikanth. In this meeting Nag Ashwin narrated an interesting story idea.
Rajini was impressed and asked him to come back with a full script. If all goes well Vyjayanthi Movies will take this prestigious project forward.
Rajinikanth has a long standing bond with Ashwini Dutt and has been keen to collaborate with Telugu directors.
He has already listened to stories from director Vassishta and Vivek Athreya though those projects didn’t materialize. Now, everyone is curious to see if Nag Ashwin will turn this opportunity into reality.
