Mumbai police grants permission for Salman Khan to use a licenced gun

In the month of June, news came out that Bollywood star Salman Khan received death threats from an unknown person. Later, Salman approached Mumbai police regarding the same.

Reportedly, Salman even asked to grant permission to use a licence gun as a safety measure but back then the police denied the permission. Later, in the last week of July, Salam met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar and requested to use the licenced gun.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon hours of Sunday, Salman Khan was called and handed over licence papers to him. Mumbai police even tightened security in and around the premise of Salman Khan’s residency.
