In just a couple of months, Anupama Parameswaran has seen a positive change in her box office fortunes. Her earlier film Paradha didn’t meet expectations, even though she had high hopes for it.
While the film story was appreciated its execution fell short and her performance went largely unnoticed. Despite this, Anupama remained determined and focused on her craft.
Soon after, she found success again. In Telugu, her performance in Kishkindhapuri contributed to the film’s success.
In Malayalam she delivered hits with JSK: Janaki vs State of Kerala and The Pet Detective and in Tamil she scored a decent hit this Diwali with Bison. Each film belonged to a different genre allowing her to showcase her versatility.
Reflecting on this journey Anupama said, “I was disappointed with Paradha, but I feel blessed to be part of these films. Success motivates me to choose better films and give my best performance”. Her next project is the Tamil film Lockdown and she has not signed any other films yet.
