Mani Ratnam has been an inspiration to many actors and directors, and his classic films are still a learning source for upcoming filmmakers. Recently this legendary director shared his desire to work with Sai Pallavi someday.
At the pre-release event of “Amaran” while talking about Sai Pallavi, Mani Ratnam said, “I am a very big fan of you, and I hope I will work with you one day”.
This surprised everyone, leaving fans to wonder why it’s taking so long for this collaboration to happen.
Sai Pallavi replied, “Before entering the cinema, I didn’t know many directors, but Mani Ratnam was a name I always knew.
He’s one reason I’m particular about the scripts and roles I choose.” Interestingly, Mani Ratnam had considered her for “Cheliya” but eventually cast Aditi Rao Hydari.
Sai Pallavi, I’m a big fan, I hope I get to work with you one day.
