Mani Ratnam has wrapped up his upcoming action drama Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role. The film is set for a grand release on June 5th, and the promotional activities are in full swing.
Recently rumors spread that Mani Ratnam would direct a romantic entertainer with young actor Naveen Polishetty. Many believed the news and several media outlets reported it widely.
However, during a promotional event for Thug Life, Mani Ratnam clarified that the news is false.
He stated that he came to know about the rumor through the media and confirmed that no such project with Naveen Polishetty is in the works. He also mentioned that he has a few scripts ready but hasn’t finalized his next film.
Thug Life is jointly produced by Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam and carries high expectations. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the powerful combo of Kamal and Mani Ratnam on screen again.
