Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa is all set for a grand theatrical release tomorrow. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and the story explores the deep devotion of Kannappa to Lord Shiva.
In a recent interaction Vishnu revealed that the Hindi version underwent a few edits based on suggestions from the censor board.
Scenes like placing a foot on the Shiva Linga and pouring water from the mouth were considered sensitive. To avoid hurting religious sentiments, the team made the necessary cuts along with a few other minor changes.
The film stars Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, R. Sarathkumar and many other stars.
With music by Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma, Kannappa promises a visually rich and spiritually powerful cinematic experience.
Manchu Manoj also extended his warm wishes to the team of Kannappa.
