Mamitha Baiju Says She Couldn’t Miss This Unique Role

Mamitha Baiju is preparing for her next film Vishwanath and Sons, starring Suriya and directed by Venky Atluri.

The film is a romantic family drama based on an age-gap love story. Recently Mamitha spoke about the much-discussed age difference between the lead characters and called the concept “Very fresh”.

She said such stories are not common in films which is why it attracted her.

When director Venky explained the story to her she liked it immediately and felt she should not miss the chance to do such a role.

Mamitha also said the film does not repeatedly focus on the age gap but it remains an important part of the story. The makers are openly discussing this theme in promotions and the teaser.
