Malavika Mohanan Looks Beyond Industry Boundaries

Malavika Mohanan says she enjoys playing different kinds of characters and does not want to be limited to a single genre as other actresses do.

Her upcoming Tamil films, Sardar 2 and Pocket Novel feature completely different roles for sure which she finds exciting as an actor. She truly believes the variety in filmmaking keeps her much motivated and creatively engaged.

However she admitted that balancing work and personal life can be much more challenging due to her busy shooting schedules for sure.

Speaking about Pocket Novel, Malavika said she is very much happy to finally share screen space with Vijay Sethupathi.

She also praised director Thiagarajan Kumararaja saying his multiple takes are part of a detailed process to perfect every scene. She remains open to projects across different industries.
