Malavika Mohanan, recently praised for her role in “Thangalaan“, talked about how she manages her use of social media.
She shared that she tries to limit her screen time because spending too much time online can negatively affect her work.
Malavika said that excessive scrolling makes it harder for her to focus and be present during her scenes. She has noticed that too much screen time leads to brain fog and affects her performance.
While filming, she avoids using her phone as much as possible, even if it means being bored, to stay focused on her work.
She acknowledged that for actors, social media is both a necessity and a challenge. Balancing social media use is important, as it’s essential for engaging with fans but can also be distracting.
