Major setback for Pawan Kalyan’s director?

A film titled, Icon in the combination of star hero Allu Arjun and director Venu Sriram in under the discussion for a long time. Even Dil Raju announced he will be bankrolling the project.

But due to reasons unknown, the project was kept on hold for almost 2 years. Meanwhile, after Venu Sriram made a comeback with earlier this year released Vakeel Saab, news started circulating that Allu Arjun is ready to work with Venu Sriram for Icon. Reports also came out that Bunny gave bulk dates for the project and will kick-start the shooting from this year end.

Now, the latest buzz is that the project is kept on hold yet again as Bunny is keen on wrapping up the entire shooting formalities for his upcoming film, Pushpa( will be released in two parts) and then going ahead with other projects. If the above buzz is to be believed, this comes as a major setback for Venu Sriram after delivering a superhit like Vakeel Saab.
