Major first day worldwide collections

Adivi Sesh’s patriotic drama, Major had a pan-India theatrical release yesterday. Opened to a decent word of mouth, the film has performed well on its opening day in twin Telugu states. As per the trade reports, the film has collected Rs 3.98 crore share at the Telugu box office. Below is area wise break-up figure.

As per the reports, Major pre-release business for all released versions is done for Rs 14.93 crore and should collect Rs 15 crore share to be termed as a clean hit at the box office. As the film has collected Rs 7.03 crore on the first day, it should collect Rs 7.97 crore more to achieve the break-even target.
