Mahesh Babu : The undisputed king of the US

Superstar Mahesh Babu is one of those actors whose fanbase and craze has little to do with the result of his films. He has a loyal fanbase, including a massive female following as well, who are always enthusiastic about every film the actor does.

Mahesh’s recent film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, was released today, meaning that the US premieres took place last night. The US premiere numbers for the film have been stupendous, collecting about 925K in 477 locations. SVP managed to collect that amount, despite being released in only Telugu, whereas RRR collected $5.5 million, including the premiere shows and first day collections, in the various languages that it was released in.

SVP is expected to have collected more, given that collections from only 477 locations have been made public knowledge, and is the first Indian movie to have collected such a huge amount, after the pandemic, barring RRR.
