Magesh Raj Gifts Director Abishan A BMW

In Tamil cinema, producers often celebrate their team’s success with special gifts as a mark of gratitude. A similar gesture has now drawn attention after the success of Tourist Family.

Young producer Magesh Raj Pasilian, known for backing small-budget yet successful films like Good Night and Lover, produced Tourist Family which became one of 2025’s biggest hits.

Made on a modest budget of under Rs. 5 crore, the film grossed around Rs. 75 crore and won praise from audiences, critics and celebrities alike for its heartwarming story.

Ahead of director Abishan Jeevinth’s wedding on October 31st Magesh surprised him with a BMW car as a wedding gift and a token of appreciation for their successful collaboration. Photos of Abishan with the car went viral with fans and film stars sending congratulations.

After Tourist Family, Abishan is set to play the lead in Madhan’s debut film co-starring Anaswara Rajan and produced by Magesh Raj Pasilian.
