Lover is making me nervous : Dil Raju

Dil Raju, the record breaking successful producer of Telugu Cinema talked about his film, Lover, which stars Raj Tharun as the lead. The movie is releasing on 20th July and the producer said, “To say the truth, Raj Tarun doesn’t have the market for an 8 crores budget film. He is still an upcoming hero and 2-3 crores is safe bet on him. We believed in our banner value than Hero’s market and even though 4-5 crores budget could have been big risk on him, we went with 8 crores budget to satisfy the story needs.

There is a problem when you want to make a movie with Raj Tharun, that is not many big heroines are willing to work with him. He looks too young and is also on flops. Before Lover, all his releases turned out to be big disasters. Even though I am worried about the result, I have belief on the subject.

Raj Tharun has been asking to be part of our production house’s film from long time and Lover story seemed apt for him. When Haristh, the producer, came to me and said, we will take different music composers for each song, I asked him is it necessary for a Raj Tharun starrer? As the idea is good, we went ahead with it. I am never this nervous about any of my films!”
