2 States was one of the sorted out book adaptations in Bollywood. It gave Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor a much needed hit after their debuts. Even though they earned name fame through the debut movies, they needed a solid hit to cement their place in the hearts of Hindi audience.2 states was adapted to screen by Abhishek Verman for Karan Johar, from the successful novel of the same name. The movie version was praised by the original book writer himself, Chetan Bhagat. The strong buzz in Tinsel Town is that the movie will be remade in Telugu and producers are looking to cast the real life love birds and reel life hot pair Naga Chaitanya and Samantha.

This crazy combo could materialise as the influential distributors turned producers Abhishek Pictures are backing the project. Apparently, Abhishek Pictures have bought the rights of the hindi original for 55 lakhs and are looking for a good director to hand over the project to. Already Samantha, wished that she would like to accept a role with meat and Chaitanya made it clear that he is not in averse of remakes if the story is good with Premam remake.Well, the final decision is yet to be taken by both the actors. But we wish to see them on screen again burning it to fire with their hot chemistry.
