Vijay Deverakonda starrer Liger under the direction of Puri Jagannadh had a theatrical release on August 25th in South states. The film had a day delay release on the North belt on August 26th. Opened to poor word of mouth, the film has a decent first day at the box office in Telugu states. By the end of its 2-day run, Liger has collected a share of Rs 17.42 crore.
