Vijay Deverakonda starrer Liger under the direction of Puri Jagannadh had a theatrical release on August 25th in South states. The film had a day delay release on the North belt on August 26th. Opened to poor word of mouth, the film has a decent first day at the box office in Telugu states. By the end of its 2-day run, Liger has collected a share of Rs 17.42 crore. We had already reported that Liger pre-release business is done for Rs 82.15 crore and should collect Rs 85 crore to achieve break-even status. As the film has collected Rs 17.42 crore crore share in 2 days, it should mint more than Rs 67.58 crore to be a safe bet for the buyers.
