Recently, many in the film industry have run into legal problems. Jaya Prada, a veteran actress, recently faced a big setback when the court ordered her detention for failing to appear despite repeated warrants being issued against her.
Now it’s Bandla Ganesh‘s turn to face legal issues. An Ongole Court decided against him in a cheque bounce case. He has been condemned to a year in prison and fined Rs 95.10 lakh. The case arose after Ganesh borrowed Rs 95 lakhs from Venkateswarlu in 2019, and issued a cheque that later bounced.
Ganesh has already faced similar legal issues. In 2017, the 14th Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Erramanzil condemned him to six months in prison and a fine of Rs 15.86 lakhs. However, he was eventually granted conditional bail. The current Ongole Court decision also mandates Ganesh to repay the loaned sum plus court costs.
Despite the verdict, he has the option of appealing to higher courts. These legal failures show the necessity of meeting financial responsibilities and complying with legal actions, emphasizing the need for individuals, particularly those in the film business, to manage their finances carefully in order to prevent such repercussions.
