Looks like Balakrishna finally has his lead actress. And the lucky lady who has been cast opposite him for Gautamiputra Satakarni — Balakrishna’s 100th film — is none other than Shriya Saran. The filmmaker, Krish Jagarlamudi, recently told an English Daily that Shriya Saran would be starring opposite Balakrishna in the 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni. “Yes, we finally got Shriya to play the female lead and she will be joining the shoot soon,” said the film maker who directed the National Award winner Kanche.
After a hectic shooting schedule of a high-octane fight sequence in Morocco with the cast and crew of the film, including Kabir Bedi, Balakrishna had left for a brief break to the US. However, he will return for the shoot soon. For a long time there was a lot of speculation about who is playing the leading lady and now all the rumours have been laid to rest.
Apart from Kabir Bedi and Shriya Saran, Hema Malini will also be playing an interesting role in the film
