It is widely known that Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new film under the direction of Anil Ravipudi went on the floors in December. Tentatively titled NBK108, the film wrapped up a minor schedule in December in which an action sequence was canned on Balayya and a few fighters.

Dhamaka fame Sree Leela is playing a key role in the movie. Reportedly, Sree Leela joined the film sets in the January schedule and a few key scenes involving her are canned by the director Anil Ravipudi. A couple of days back news came out that Balakrishna will be resuming the film’s shooting in the February third week.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz among film circles is that the new schedule planned from this week might postponed due to the demise of Taraka Ratna. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited. Though a couple of weeks back news circulated that Malayalam beauty Honey Rose who did a key role in Veera Simha Reddy is locked as the female lead in NBK108 our sources confirm that Kajal Aggarwal is locked as the female lead opposite NBK in the film.

Being bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, the NBK108 team is aiming for a Dasara release. While Thaman is roped in as the music composer, senior photographer C Ram Prasad is cranking the camera. Senior actor Sarathkumar is playing a key role in this actioner set in Telangana backdrop.
