After Love Story, director Sekhar Kammula returned with Kuberaa, which was released on June 20th. The film stars Dhanush and Nagarjuna as the lead actors. Dhanush delivered one of his best performances, while Nagarjuna impressed with his acting. The film was produced by Suniel Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan, and Sekhar Kammula under Asian Cinemas and Amigos Creations.
Kuberaa opened to positive reviews from the very first show. It saw strong collections on day one and day two, and surprisingly, day three earnings were even higher. The first weekend collections were very impressive.

The film Kuberaa did a worldwide theatrical business of Rs. 58.9 crores. For the movie to reach the break-even point, it needs to earn a share of around Rs. 60 crores. In the first 3 days, Kuberaa collected a share of Rs. 43.39 crores and earned a gross of Rs. 66.5 crores. To achieve break-even, it still needs to collect another Rs. 16.61 crores in share.
