Kriti Shetty following in Anushka and Samantha’s footsteps!

Kriti Shetty gave a highly impressive performance in her very debut film, Uppena, which was released in 2021. The actress was flooded with offers even before the release of her debut film, and after that, the offers only increased. The actress is one of the busiest ladies in Tollywood right now, with several projects in her hand. She was recently seen in Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy and will be seen in Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju, opposite Naga Chaitanya.

According to the latest reports, Kriti has signed a new film, which would be produced by Megastar Chiranjeevi’s daughter, Sushmita Konidela, while director Virinchi Varma is expected to helm the project. The film is said to be a woman-centric one, with the entire weight of the film falling on to Kriti’s shoulders. So far, the only actresses who have successfully pulled off such roles in Tollywood have been Anushka Shetty and Samantha.

Given that Anushka and Samantha were seen in such films later on in their career, Kriti taking such a bold step at the very beginning of her career is surprising many. On the other hand, Kriti is currently busy shooting for Ram’s upcoming film with director Linguswamy.
