Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has strongly warned AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
He said Pawan films will not be allowed in Telangana unless he apologises for his recent remarks.
During his tour of the Godavari districts, Pawan Kalyan commented that the Konaseema region lost its greenery due to the “naradishthi” of Telangana leaders and people. This statement led to strong political and public reactions.
Venkat Reddy responded saying the TG government will not stay silent if anyone insults the pride of Telangana.
He said that until Pawan gives a apology his movies will not be screened in the state. He also said that he was making this statement in his official role as Cinematography Minister.
Pawan next film UBS is set for a summer 2025 release.
