Komaram Opens Up About His 18 Year Struggle

Komaram shared an emotional story about his 18 year journey in the film industry at the Irumudi success meet.

He said that for nearly 12 years, he was mostly known for his ‘Komurakka’ lady get-up, which made people overlook his acting talent.

He revealed that several friends who later became directors did not offer him opportunities. Komaram said director Shiva Nirvana changed his life by giving him the role of Nagulu in Irumudi.

He was nervous about fighting Ravi Teja as he had never performed action scenes before but the team supported him. He said people now recognize him as Nagulu and that he has received offers from several production houses.

Komaram also praised Ravi Teja for supporting him during the action scenes and making him comfortable. He called Irumudi a major turning point.
