KGF Chapter 2 starring Kannada actor Yash in the lead role is scheduled for an April 14th release. Being directed by Prashant Neel, the film is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster, KGF Chapter 1.
As per the trade reports, KGF 2 is going to face two major hurdles during its release in South states. Reportedly, SS Rajamouli’s prestigious project, RRR which is gearing up for March 25th release has very fewer chances to vacate the theatres across twin Telugu states by April 14th. On the other hand, KGF will be facing a tough challenge from Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast which is releasing one day before that is on April 13th from the Tamil market.
Will KGF2 withstand and gain theatres across twin Telugu states and Tamil Nadu by overtaking RRR and Beast? Remains to be seen.
