Keerthy Suresh Explains The Reality Behind 9 To 6 Film Shoots

There has been a lot of talk about 9 to 6 work shifts in the film industry after Deepika Padukone commented about it.

Many actresses, including Rashmika supported her and said long working hours affect everyone on set. Now Keerthy Suresh has also shared her experience.

Keerthy explained that she has worked every kind of shift like 9 to 6, 9 to 9 and even overnight shifts. During Mahanati she was shooting five other films at the same time often working on one film in the morning and another at night.

She said that even a 9 to 6 shift is tough because actors must wake up around 5:30 am, reach the set by 7:30, shoot till evening, go to the gym, eat dinner and sleep only by 11:30 pm. They get just six hours of sleep and even less in longer shifts. Technicians get even fewer hours of rest.
